If we do not hold an item you wish to borrow, we can request that item for you from other libraries through the Inter-library loan or inter-loan service.
This is a co-operative scheme where libraries throughout New Zealand lend items to each other. These can include books, journal articles, music scores, microfilms and, in some cases, CDs and DVDs.
To access the service you need to be a member of the library and it does incur a charge.
Once the item arrives, we will notify you.
You can search the New Zealand Libraries’ catalogue for items held by libraries in New Zealand. (Please note: supply is not always guaranteed).
